Thinking things and links together: a world residential workshop in Saint-Emilion, France, June 25-29, 2019

The participants of the project “For a non-hegemonic world sociology” will meet from 25 to 29 June 2019 in Saint-Emilion, a village near Bordeaux, famous for the quality of its wines since the Middle Ages and classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
During 3 days, among sociologists from all continents, we will try to answer two main questions. How can we no longer make a hegemonic sociology (whether Western-centric or of any other form of culturalism)? What are the concepts and methods for developing a sociology that is both rich in situated standpoints and offers tools common to all?
